Will a wooden home survive the Maharashtra monsoon?
Yes, if it is built for it. Pressure-treated pine, a plinth that keeps wood off the soil, overhangs that keep walls dry and proper drainage are the difference between a cabin that lasts and one that doesn't. We built our first homes in 2018; they are still in daily use.
